Parts Return Policy

Return Policy: All sales on electrical equipment including starters, powerpacks, coils, etc. are final. Please read our policies below for all other items.

In Stock Parts: Items which we are currently stocking can be returned within 30 days and must be new, undamaged, complete, never installed and in original factory sealed packaging. Returns on items between 14 and 30 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Special Order Parts: All items that are not currently in stock at the time of the order are considered special order. There will be a 20% restocking fee on these parts for all returns within 30 days. This is what the manufacturer charges us and is non-negotiable.

Remanufactured Products: All powerheads, sterndrives, and lower units are subject to a 20% restock fee regardless of stock status.

The only exception to this policy is if the return is due to an error on our behalf. In this case we will exchange parts at no cost within 30 days.

NO REFUNDS PROVIDED AFTER 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY

The Return Process: If you need to return a part, you must send an email to support@yamahaonlineparts.com. Please make sure to include the following in your email:

  • Full Name, Email Address (email used for the order), Order #, Parts you wish to return, and a phone number. 
  • YamahaOnlineParts.com will send you an email with an RMA # along with a shipping address. NO RETURNS will be accepted without a RMA #.
  • Return Shipping  and costs associated with shipping is the responsibility of the customer. 
  • YamahaOnlineParts.com will refund the money for the parts as soon as our warehouse has had the opportunity to inspect the return parts.
