Yamashield rust and corrosion protectant

Yamashield is a Yamaha rust and corrosion protectant spray used to help shield metal parts, electrical connections, steering components, trailers, and outboard surfaces from moisture and saltwater exposure. It leaves a protective film that helps reduce corrosion in harsh marine environments.

Use Yamashield as part of routine Yamaha outboard care after cleaning and drying the area. Avoid spraying it on surfaces where a slippery or waxy film would create a safety or performance issue.

Yamashield is designed to create a non-conductive shield on surfaces that are exposed to the elements. This shield will reduce the effects of moisture on metal components and electrical connections. (Replaces Boeshield T-9 Protectant and Lubricant ACC-T9SPR-AY-00).

A high-quality combination of solvents, lubricants and waxes designed for penetration, moisture displacement, lubrication while providing a shield of protection. It loosens rusty and corroded parts that dries to a thin, waxy film that clings to metal that requires a solvent to cut through.
